OUR FOUNDERS

  • William lived in Asia for over twenty years, speaks Mandarin, and holds a B.A. (Hons) degree in Modern Chinese Studies from the University of Leeds. He started his career at Jardine Matheson, where he spent over 12 years. Prior to launching ArcOn Brands, William founded his first business by launching the Jamie Oliver Restaurant Group and Fortnum & Mason in Greater China.

    William co-founded ArcOn Brands in February 2020 with the goal of helping the best brands in the world to grow in the Asia Pacific markets. ArcOn Brands is the Asia office and brand partner for leading consumer, hospitality, and lifestyle brands. To-date ArcOn Brands has been brand partner with Aman Resorts, Aman Essentials, Bremont Watches, Charbonnel et Walker, Double Dutch Tonic, and the fast-growing fashion brand Varley.

  • Jack previously worked together with William across operational and management roles under the restaurant franchise that led the Jamie Oliver Group to Asia. He also served as Development Director for KFC Taiwan under Jardine Matheson, where he was responsible for a 125-store portfolio. Preceding this, Jack spent over four years as a Strategy Consultant with Accenture in Beijing, where he focused on emerging market entry for multinational companies.

    Jack has majored in Business Mandarin at the esteemed National Taiwan University. This has enabled him to manage local teams in Taiwan and converse with Chinese partners in fluent Mandarin. Jack holds a B.A. (Hons) degree from the University of Bristol with First Class Honours.

MEET THE TEAM

  • FINANCE & HR DIRECTOR

    Born in Hong Kong, Zelinda speaks fluent Mandarin and Cantonese. As the Finance and HR Director of ArcOn Brands, she brings more than 30 years of experience in corporate services, having managed businesses across the region thanks to her roles as TMF Group Finance Director, CFO of Asia-Pacific, Head of Client Services, and Head of Operations.

    Her specialities include corporate establishment and set-up, regulatory, compliance, as well as investor relations. She is a Certified Public Accountant in the UK and Hong Kong, and has also been Treasurer of the Hong Kong Association of Business and Professional Women.

  • MARKETING DIRECTOR

    Based in Shanghai, Sophia brings her over 15 years of marketing and communication experience in both in-house and agency environments to ArcOn Brands. She has led marketing teams within multiple international brands including Tesla, Lane Crawford/Pedder Group, Michael Kors, and De Beers.

    Her specialties include marketing strategy, brand awareness, digital marketing, retail marketing, public relations, and event management. With her previous experiences, she has developed a strong understanding of luxury markets in China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.

  • ACCOUNT MANAGER

    Based in Hong Kong, Joyce is taking on the role of Account Manager (APAC) for one of our key strategic accounts Varley. Joyce has spent the last decade in Mainland China developing Tmall and WeChat stores’ merchandising plans and strategies in line with business targets via product optimization and premium customer experience.

    She has a degree in Fashion Marketing from the University of Parsons the New School for Design, New York; and Communication Studies from Northwestern University, Evanston. She is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.

  • FASHION/ACTIVEWEAR DIVISION DIRECTOR

    Hakim brings over 20 years of extensive experience drving sales, profitability and distribution channels expansion across fashion, luxury and sporting goods industries. He has worked with brands such as Esprit, Boucheron and Jott (L Catterton), with expertise on defining strategies and developing distribution in the APAC region.

    Hakim has an executive certification for Digital Marketing Strategy and Customer Journey from INSEAD in Hong Kong as well as Master’s Degrees in International Management from ICD Business School in Paris and Corporate Law from LILLE 2 in Paris.

  • SENIOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ANALYST

    With a degree in communications and an MBA in Global Fashion Media from International Fashion Academy, Ayumi brings a wealth of knowledge to our team. She is tasked to support one of our key accounts, Varley and new acquisitions.

    Previously, Ayumi worked at Meltwater as the Business Development Lead with a focus on securing and establishing client relationships and developing sales strategies. She also has experience working as a Project Manager at Virtual Studios and as an Editorial and Marketing Assistant for ELLE International.

  • MARKETING EXECUTIVE

    Emma is based in Beijing and will be supporting in delivering a multi-channel, digital marketing and e-commerce strategy for Aman Essentials in China. Her primary focus will be product registration, digital marketing activations and overall communications among 3rd party partners.

    Emma has over 7 years of experience in marketing in China, most recently at Ralph Lauren and then at Helly Hanson as Digitial Marketing Manager. She graduated with a BA degree in Cultural Industry from Capital Normal University, Beijing and an MA in Media and Communication from City, University of London.

  • BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ANALYST

    Nathan Lim joins us, as our 5th team member based in Manila, Philippines in the role of business development, he will be supporting the business development team, initially focused on the Asia Pacific development of Charbonnel et Walker. He is a Magna Cum Laude; GWA 1.23 and has a degree in Degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of the Philippines, Diliman

    Nathan is a brand marketer with experience in the FMCG industry. He will apply a detailed market development approach to the brands we work with.

  • BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ANALYST

    Based in Manila, Keane graduated from Ateneo de Manila University with a degree in Management – Honors. He finished with a cum laude distinction.

    Keane has previously worked at AIA Philam Life as a sales and marketing intern before entering ArcOn Brands under the department of Business Development. After finishing his internship, he has gone on to take the role of Business Development Analyst, helping us across all projects but with a key focus on Paragon Liquors.

    Appointed as Brand and Product Sales Manager, Frankli has a primary focus on supporting Aman Resorts and the WeChat Mini Program.

    With over 10 years of experience and an extensive backgroung in marketing and the travel/hospitality industry, Franklin has worked with brand leaders such as Marriott International and Trip.com. With both online and offline marketing experience, his expertise spans different markets with a strong emphasis on sales strategies with proven success.

    He is currently based in Shanghai and pursuing a weekend MBA at East China University of Science and Technology.
